DIANA ZUBURI AND ANDY SMITH CHOOSE TO BE HANDS ON TO THEIR CHILDREN, SEE HOW THEY ARE HANDLING ON THIS WAY

Rosemarie Joy Garcia-Smith, better known by her stage name Diana Zubiri (born April 15, 1985, in Bulacan, Philippines), is a Filipino actress. Diana is indeed one of the remarkable actresses today. Well-known as Danaya in Encantadia serye at Kapuso network.

She was married to Andy Smith who is an Australian-Filipino. They got married last May 2015. And last year they were blessed with a baby girl named Aliyah Rose.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), the celebrity mom described her husband’s struggles as a first-time dad.

“Every thing, kumbaga, blank, zero, wala siyang idea kung papaano”

“Una muna is pagkarga, so nung nanganak ako, sabi ko,

‘Halika dito, wag ka matakot, kargahin mo.’ “

“Natatakot siya, sobrang liit ‘tapos sobrang lambot, alam mo yun, baka daw mapilayan niya or whatever.”

“Sabi ko, ‘Hindi, instinct mo na ‘yan magpa-follow kung papaano mo siya hahawakan.”

“After niya naman mahawakan, aba hindi na binaba. Sabi ko, ‘Ah, ibaba mo naman kaya kasi baka mamaya masanay naman siya na puro karga.”

The couple came up with a “division of labor.” Where the two agreed on dividing their works to help them ease them overcome the struggles of being a celebrity and parents at the same time.

Diana said, “Ang usapan namin since nagkaroon ako ng trabaho, siya talaga yung pinaka-hands-on pag wala ako. “Pero pag nandun ako, ayun, hati kami.”

Andy ventures in an online business which allows him to work from home, so he made his wife a promise when she was pregnant.

He promised that he will be the one to take care of everything after she gives birth.

“Ang sabi niya sa ‘kin nun nung nakita niya ang hirap magbuntis, sabi niya, ‘O, promise ko sa ‘yo pagka nanganak ka na, ako na mag-aalaga lahat, ako ang babangon, ako ang ganito,’ ganyan, ganyan.”

“In fairness, for the last six months, ganun naman.”

But being a first time Dad for Andy is quite not that easy as he thinks at first. Just like the other first time Dad, he also had struggles with handling their baby. There was a time that Diana overheard that her husband is having a hard time putting their baby daughter to sleep.
