Since the latter part of 2017, people just couldn’t stop talking about Ellen Adarna and her rumored beau, John Lloyd Cruz.


Ever since Lloydie’s video with the actress went viral, a lot of gossip about them have been circulating all over the internet. From their secret relationship, to an alleged engagement ring, up to Ellen’s supposed pregnancy and baby bump, rumors about these two just keep on coming.

Now, Ellen, who is known to be a very active Instagram user, decided to delete it all of a sudden. No one knows exactly why she did it but a lot of speculations are being made by her followers. Some people claim that the Kapamilya star simply had enough of the issues surrounding her life.

Meanwhile, a YouTube video uploaded by “Showbiz Filipino News Manalo” revealed that Ellen deleted her account since she could not handle the insinuations that Angelica Panganiban, John Lloyd’s ex, is saying.


Recently, Angelica was interviewed during the release of her hugot book ‘Para Kay Ex.’

Aside from describing what the book is all about, the seasoned actress took a jab at one of her “exes” who did not give her the breakup she deserves.


She said:
“Mukhang may signal naman siya kasi may mga videos na lumabas na nasa island sila, sumasayaw sila, mga bangag sila. So sabi ko sila na siguro, ‘di lang ako na-inform.”
This might have triggered Ellen Adarna which pushed her to delete her account.


After deleting her account though, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Ellen created a new account with the handle “emg.a” but this time, it is set in private. The said account currently has 26 followers and 8 posts.

Many showbiz personality experienced encountering bashers on social media, some of them choose to be silent and some are really affected on it.


Among them is Pauleen Luna, who is currently making waves on social media for her intriguing tweets last Tuesday, February 13.


Said tweets pertain to the Bossing’s wife airing her side on the controversy involving her and Maine. Rumors stated that Pauleen didn’t like her co-host in “Eat Bulaga!”, and this was exactly what she quashed in her statement.


“Once and for all let me put this out in the open – I DO NOT DISLIKE MAINE! I don’t know where some people got that idea. How I wish she would stay in the studio so we could all be close! But since she’s in the barangay, we don’t get the chance to bond katulad ng mga nasa Broadway.”


According to Pauleen, her reactions to some AlDub fans don’t necessarily mean that she’s mad at the whole fandom. She stressed that they should stop from pitting her and Maine against each other, and that they treat each other as a family in “Eat Bulaga!”.


“I’ve been on the show for 13 years so please, take it from me, na pamilya kami doon.”


That’s more, the celebrity mom asked from the critics to leave her child, baby Talitha, out of the narrative–and even went as far as threatening them that she would call the NBI if they continue with the bashing.


“We love Maine, as much as we love everyone else in the show. Please stop thinking otherwise. Peace be with you all and God bless you!”

Kapuso star Paolo Ballesteros hasn’t officially come out, but there were already speculations about his preference. His penchant for playing outlandish gay roles and unbelievable make-up transformations further fueled rumors, but the ‘Eat Bulaga’ kept mum…until last year.



Back in May 2017, Paolo began to post hints about his close relationship to Roland Ochoa Anog, a G-Force dancer. According to the GMA article, the couple became official on February 14, 2017. Aside from donning matching gold rings, Paolo and Roland were also seen sporting similar tattoos on their arms.



On their third month together, the pair took a vacation in Oriental Mindoro for some sun, sand, and sea. Prior to this, Roland reportedly met Paolo’s mom, Danielida.



While the pair never really confirmed their relationship, rumor has it that they broke up when May ended. And just like that, Paolo’s past relationship was never really talked about, until the recent press conference for his movie, “Amnesia Love.”



When asked about his love life, the actor replied in gay lingo, “Nganga. Zerowena [zero].”

Further prodding about the couple rings he previously posted made Paolo quip, “Napako ang pangako.”



The actor-host also shared some of his plans for Valentine’s Day this year, which will be unlike last year’s colorful milestone.



“Birthday ng lola ko. February 14 ang birthday niya kaya baka umuwi kami ng Cabanatuan to celebrate.”

Although he hasn’t since his ex since their split, Paolo revealed that he still keeps in touch with Roland since there’s no bad blood between them. Moreover, the award-winning actor considers his former partner a friend.



“Hindi pa kami nagkikita nang personal, pero magkausap kami. Okay naman kami.”

While the break-up is quite a traumatic experience for him, Paolo said that he had no choice but to move on from it. Likewise, he learned to deal with the pain through constant working. He dished out an advice:



“Deal with it! Wala namang ibang way. Masakit, pero ganun talaga. Nag-work nang nag-work.”
